Returning to the project that started it all
I started the streetlight in 2019 and kept returning to it through pauses, new requirements and other projects. In 2025, its long prototype-development chapter reached completion with research support from IRT, HSTU. Looking back, the project records much of my learning in embedded systems and integration.
It grew from brightness control into a wider system involving solar movement, panel cleaning, communication between lamps and environmental monitoring. That growth was gradual, with physical builds and outdoor experiments along the way.
The years mattered as much as the final assembly. Returning to a paused project meant looking at earlier decisions with skills I did not have when I first made them.
