Reflections
The first time the pieces worked together
I remember struggling to bring the vision-assisted software into the poultry robot. When the system finally ran, the reaction was immediate: it worked. That was one of the moments that made the effort of integration feel tangible.
The challenge was not only learning one component or writing one part of the program. I needed the computing, control and physical platform to work as a system.
That experience stayed with me. It is one reason I continue to work at the boundary between the mechanical design, the electronics and the software.
